Belgae Atectoi (Belgae Levy Spearmen) These levies are recruited from the poorest freemen. They are sparsely equipped with a spear, no armor, and hastily-made wicker shields. They have no, or hardly any, training.

Belgae Arjoi (Belgae Elite Spearmen) These noble champions are heavy, disciplined spearmen. They use finely made leather and chainmail armour, as well as a long spear. Although they are more disciplined than many Belgae troops, they prefer to fight as individuals, rather than in rigid formations.

Belgae Solduroi (Early) (Early Belgae Medium Swordsmen) These swordsmen are older and very experienced, usually wearing a good quality helmet, and leather armour under their tunic. They are good swordsmen, using heavy javelins and longswords for devastating attacks. They are effective for flanking attacks and supporting other troops in melee.

Belgae Gaiseredoi (Belgae Light Cavalry) The farmlands of Belgica are rich in horses and cattle. As a result, even poor warriors can afford to equip themselves with fast horses, javelins, a sword, minimal armor, and a cavalry shield. They are very efficient as a screening and scouting unit, but they will suffer in prolonged melee with unbroken infantry or heavier cavalry.

Treveri Mairepos (Belgae Medium Cavalry) These warriors ride their own horses into battle and equip themselves with spears, javelins, light armor, and a stout cavalry shield. They are not afraid to close with other medium cavalry, enemy missiles, or infantry. Should they encounter steadfast spearmen or heavy cavalry, they will almost certainly need assistance from their own infantry.

Remi Mairepos (Belgae Heavy Cavalry) Nobles from the Remi, Treveri, and other Belgae tribes are famed horsemen; their Mairepos are able to smash infantry. Brave, unrelenting, and powerful, they can ride over opposition and rout numerically superior enemies. Their armour, shields, and weapons are good quality. Their skills are unquestionable.

Well suited for flat terrain, Belgic chariots are at home on the flood plains of Belgica. Their exceptionally heavy javelins can pierce any armour or shield. They are Excingoi, flank attackers, usually posted behind lighter units, and can repel an infantry counterattack with tremendous efficiency.

They usually fight in a Shield Wall formation which takes good advantage of their excellent spears.
